Nike Air Max 1 x Patta

Patta’s Nike Air Max 1 represents a new era in sneaker collaborations. His team does not fear to speak their mind or use their influence, and the Nike Air Max 1 is no exception. During the design process, Patta’s team did not shy away from involving members of his community. The Nike Homegrown collection tied to the album drew its biggest fan base to the brand.

The Nike Air Max 1 x Patta is a collaboration between the two designers and Amsterdam-based boutique Patta. The shoe features a wave pattern on the mudguard and tongue label, as well as a visible Air unit of nike patta. Patta’s collection is inspired by his deep connection to the Air Max community. It is designed for both men and women, and features a textured rubber outsole, a woven tongue label, and a wavy mudguard.

The Patta is a low-top sneaker made of leather or nylon with an embroidered baby Swoosh and full-size Swoosh on the forefoot. It’s also adorned with a script logo. The Patta is packaged in a special collector’s box that includes a silver-plated charm bracelet. The shoe also sits parallel to the apparel capsule, which features matching tracksuits and branded socks.

Patta and Nike’s collaboration on the Air Max 1 is a perfect example of the creative process. Patta and Nike were inspired by the original Air Max 1 and reworked the mudguard to create a wave pattern. The shoe features orange nubuck, neutral ‘Pure Platinum’, and white upper panelling. A sail hued midsole and white outsole complete the design. The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 is expected to release in two colorways.
